It is a full day of wine experiences you won’t forget! In the morning, enjoy two educational tasting panels with industry professionals and guest panelist, Doug Frost, wine consultant, writer, and one of only four people in the world to hold both Master Sommelier and Master of Wine titles.
VIP Pre-event Winemaker lunch (Saturday, November 18, noon- 2 pm)
Kick off the Symposium on Saturday with an intimate lunch at Bar Bianco with your favorite Arizona winemakers!
Symposium Panel Tasting Topics (Sunday, November 19 from 10 am – 12:15 pm):
Wild Grapes: Winemakers and guests discuss and taste esoteric grape varieties growing ad thriving in Arizona, such as Mourvedre, Vermentino, Petit Manseng, Aglianico, Graciano, Sagrantino, Tannat and Vranac.
Arizona Against the World: A comparative regional tasting of Arizona-produced varietals against the same varietals from other regions of the world. Led by Arizona winemakers and guests.
Rosé Lunch and Auction (Sunday, November 19 from 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm):
After the symposiums, savor a lunch from The Farm at South Mountain paired with your favorite Arizona rosé and one of the liveliest auctions ever (we mean it).
Grand Tasting and Arizona wine Sale (Sunday, November 19 from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm):
In the afternoon, join us for a grand tasting of all-Arizona wine from your favorite Arizona wineries. Purchase some to take home!
Spend the entire day with us or join us for whatever part you love best.
