Raw Vegan Spring Intuitive Cooking Experience with Arizona Cookbook Author Melanie Albert at The Farm at South Mountain.

Want to have fun creating raw vegan totally plant-based dishes with our local Arizona farmers’ beautiful Spring organic produce?

Join The Farm at South Mountain and Melanie Albert of Experience Nutrition, and author of “A New View of Healthy Eating” for a unique, hands-on cooking opportunity to create beautiful and delicious raw dishes with simple culinary skills and fresh, in-season organic ingredients.

For the Raw Vegan Spring Intuitive Cooking Experience Class Melanie will intuitively shop the Saturday farmers’ markets for local, Phoenix fresh, just-harvested produce the day before the class.

During the hands-on interactive class you’ll learn how to prepare a beautiful Raw Soup and Deconstructed Raw Lasagna. You’ll intuitively choose your colorful veggies (carrots, beets, zucchini, radishes) and mindfully prepare them for the lasagna. We’ll also create three unique sauces, a red tomato sauce, white cashew cream, and green pesto.

We eat with our eyes first. Melanie will guide you with beautiful ways to plate your Raw Lasagna and you’ll have fun creating your own incredible, beautiful dish. Once you create your dishes, we’ll enjoy mindfully eating your beautiful creations with community in the beauty of The Farm.
