Pecan Harvest at The Farm

Join Trees Matter and your community for FREE pecan harvesting at The Farm at South Mountain! This is part of our Urban Food Forest Program where we provide education and events around food and trees. Gather at 9:00 am to hear history of The Farm at South Mountain and its abundance of tree varietals. Attendees also have the option of going on a Farm tour to learn about the sustainable activities and other trees amongst the property. After the tour, participants will head back to the Pecan grove, where they will be able to harvest pecans and enjoy The Farm at South Mountain and it’s holiday charm.

*Please note we cannot control how many pecans are available to harvest as the trees make up their own minds of when to drop their pecans.
