Celebrate the abundance of Arizona’s fall and winter season with your kids! Join us and our Blue Watermelon Project as we team up with The Farm at South Mountain and showcase the Learning Garden, take a tour of the big garden and the chicken coop, and cap things off with an interactive cooking demo hosted by Chef Charleen Badman who will make a seasonal soup complete with bread and butter.
Kids highly encouraged to attend! Please note that very limited tickets available due to capacity. Early registration is encouraged. All proceeds benefit the non-profit mission of Slow Food Phoenix to bring good, clean, and fair food to all people.
Attendees to meet at The Learning Garden in North Grove at The Farm. At 10:30 am, the tour will begin. Please bring walking shoes, hats, sunscreen, bug repellant for your time at The Farm! A water bottle is encouraged to help save cup waste.
