Join Candy Lesher and The Farm at South Mountain for a demonstration and light lunch as we talk all about Sonoran Desert Teparary Beans. This class will take you back to basics with true Arizona menu items for your next dinner party.
Candy will demonstrate three menu items that will be eaten at a community table after. All menu items are vegetarian and gluten free.
Appetizer – Creamy White Tepary Bean Humms
Side Dish – Black Tepary Bean and Quinoa Salad with Chimichurri Dressing; Main
Dish – Brown Tepary Bean “Three Sisters” Chili (tasty combination of roasted corn, squash and tepary).

Candy Lesher Bio:
Chef, instructor, restaurateur, editor-in-chief of a food-focused magazine, Arizona Culinary Hall of Fame inductee, and producer/host of her own Telly-award-winning television show – are all part of Candy Lesher’s solid culinary background. A cancer survivor, she became a passionate advocate of nutritional wellness in the home kitchen; as a Culinary Wellness Coach she now helps clients transition to viable, healthier lifestyles by developing both their culinary skills and nutritional mindfulness.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
The Farm at South Mountain has plenty of parking. Our main lot is across from The Farm on 32nd St.
What can/can’t I bring to the event?
Please bring sunscreen as The Farm is an outdoor space.
What is the refund policy?
Refunds are not available as supplies will be purchased depending on number of tickets sold.
