Meet the Instructor
Melanie Albert is a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance, who completed her Yoga Teacher Training program at Spirit of Yoga in Tempe in 2015 with Laura McKinzie and India Lee Benedetto. Melanie has been practicing yoga for 14 years and began her yoga practice very intentionally when she moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico in 2003 to practice with world-renowned yoga teacher Tias Little for her own self care. Melanie has personally enjoyed practicing different styles of yoga locally with many of the yoga teacher pioneers in the Valley, including Mary Bruce, Mary Beth Markus, Meg Byerlein, and Jeff Martens. Melanie is also a Holistic Nutrition instructor of Whole Foods Cooking and Conscious Eating at Southwest Institute of Healing Arts.
