Trained herbalist, scholarly researcher and dreamworking practitioner, Blache Marie will lead a two-day workshop to delve into the practical uses, health benefits, and wonder of dreamworking.

Through partnering with plants at The Farm at South Mountain, we will explore American dream ways. Each participant will build a portal made from herbs, water, and dried vines to incorporate cultural traditions (Southern, Southwestern and diasporic African) to bring the historic to the present. The components of the portal have been well researched through travel to Ecuador, upstate NY and southern and southwestern United States. They portal will go home with you to continue your dreamwork.

We will touch on routines and rituals for daily life, such as caring for children, business decisions and attaining goals. Methods of dream interpretation will be discussed on the second day beneath a cozy patch of trees. Together, we will learn how to interact with our dreams to affect the present, future and our descendants.
