The Farm at South Mountain invites you to a groundbreaking for Old Farm Orchard, a sustainable education area on the 10-acre Pecan grove. The Old Farm Orchard is set to open in the fall of 2016. This area of The Farm will be home to community classes, experimental gardening plots, vermiculture and composting beds, and hub for urban farming in Phoenix.
Please join us on Earth Day (Friday, April 22) as we celebrate community partnerships and break ground on our new sustainability education plot. There will be networking, light refreshments, and artist performances before the ceremony.
